BREAST CANCER AWARENESS RUN

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women both in the developed and less developed world. Survival rates vary greatly worldwide, ranging from 80% to 40%.

I came from a family who had a family member died because of breast cancer, and so I have always been very supportive when it comes to cancer awareness.

To increase awareness of the fight against breast cancer and in support of survivors, I joined in Pink Ribbon Wellness Foundation with my friends in the Pink Wig-A-Thon Fund Raising.

It was a fun filled carnival held at the Laman Perdana area which includes musical performances by celebrities and food stalls!

Women were also entitled to collect a free health check and breast examination voucher which they can use later on at selected health care centers.

Finished my 10km run today and I was able to participate in a cause very close to my heart.

Meet Mai, Rachel and Theresa 🙂
